🟢 $ZFI

Governance and Risk Underwriting

ZFI is the governance and utility token for protocol governance, risk underwriting, and advanced user participation.

Note: ZFI is only accessible and relevant to users interfacing with Zybra via wallet-based web app (crypto-native), not feature phone users.

Governance functions

ZFI holders (also referred to as “Directors”) are responsible for:

  • Voting on asset pool parameters (e.g., max exposure to T-bills vs credit)

  • Approving new RWA integrations and DeFi modules

  • Managing the protocol’s treasury and insurance fund

  • Electing technical upgrades and smart contract audits

Risk underwriting functions

ZFI staking serves as a backstop for RWA risk exposure:

  • Stakers lock ZFI against specific yield vaults

  • In case of delayed yield or loss events, ZFI pool absorbs partial impact

  • Higher-risk pools offer higher staking returns

This system aligns incentives: ZFI holders are rewarded for securing the protocol, but are also exposed to risk, promoting diligence and decentralized accountability.
